Why is your PC connected directly to the internet? Get a cheap NAT router (basically any linksys/dlink etc router), disable the AV on the PC. I don't recommend NOT having an AV at all, but it's at least safe not to if you are careful, so you could go without it just to test if it's that.

Ive officially stopped worrying about it too much lol.

All my important data is on my other drives, so if it fails i wont lose anything but a few minutes of recovering to a temporary drive.

Wish they'd make it easier to see how much is written
