I want to try win 10 on my Haswell laptop HPI7 8gb 24GB ssd cache and 2tb HDD with Optimus GT740m/intel4600. I am going to shut off intel cache and pull the 2TB hdd. Then put in the Seagate 750xl hybrid that I had lying arround. Install Win 10 and enable the Intel rapid storage cache on the 24gb msata ssd..Will the ssd cache work properly with the hybrid Seagate drive?

I would expect this to work. The intel ssd cache will see the 750 GB drive no different than any other spinner.

The hybrid feature is handled internally to the drive itself and is not really controllable outside the drive. I mean you do not have direct control of what is cached or not. I highly doubt Intel will do anything different with this drive versus any other spinner.

Wouldn't it be like twice the work? The hybrid will cache internally the, ssd will cache externally. Both would be caching the same info, ssd caching the cache info from the hybrid. I suppose one would have to test if disabling the ssd cache would be better or not for performance.

Both would be caching the same info

I would expect some overlap but not exactly the same info. Remember both will have different caching policies and probably different algorithms.
