Allthough i say SSD i'm not sure it is actually the drive causing it. It's really something odd...
When I boot up my pc and it'll load fast, initially. Background programs (as far as i can see at least), desktop, widgets,... etc. They all load pretty much instantly.
I can boot up chrome the moment i see my desktop but anything else will have to wait.
Teamspeak? That's a no-go. Windows live mail? nope.
Even more, if i try to start those up it seemingly freezes up my ssd. My desktop becomes unresponsive and i can't really do anything anymore.
Opening the start menu (and the task bar in general) does work untill i try opening something. LIke taskmanager or try opening any of the file management shortcuts (to documents, my computer,... etc).
Sometimes this lasts for 10 seconds and other days it might take 2 minutes but today I had to reboot my pc several times before it became usable.
The "intel rapid storage" thingy kept popping up with "sata drive disconnected", "unknown sata drive connected" but at that point i could access all my drives again.
MIght also be a virus? What are your thoughts on this. Right now i'm a bit torn, i booted the pc up in safe mode and it had far less trouble booting up there than in normal mode but it wasn't quite what it should be either.
edit: downloaded hdd regenerator and it recommends i backup my drive? My read error rate peaked at 65212 a moment ago and is now sitting at 53836. dying ssd?
edit2: hard disk sentinel says everything's 100% ok though... ><
