Hello all. I have a little problem with some of my new parts I got for the first wave of my build. I have an older ASUS M4N82 Deluxe motherboard with 980a chipset. Here is a link: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2Plus/M4N82_Deluxe/ It has the MediaShield raid with Nvidia and sata 2. I have recently got 2 Kingston HyperX SSD's that work in sata 3 and new video card. I had the previous raid on 2 WD Raptor drives (I believe those were sata 2) and no issues. I have taken those out and added in the new ssd's, and setup the raid with the built in utility like I had my raptors. The setup goes fine, install windows 7 64bit goes fine, and restarts and everything and I get to the "Starting Windows" screen with the dancing logo. It starts loading and the colors are coming together and then make the logo and sit there for a moment, and then right when its about to go away and boot into windows, I get a BSOD.
It reads:
(normal header for the BSOD then...)
STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF88009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)
then also tells me to run CHKDSK /F
I have already followed Kingston's instructions step-by-step to update the firmware with no luck, I get to the same BSOD.
I'm think it has something to do with the sata 2 mobo and sata 3 ssd's???
Any input?
Thanks ahead of time!!!
