Spyware in Audigy 2 drivers

I recently purchased a Audigy 2 ZS only to find out that along with the drivers comes Gator and GAIN. Wow, now fucks are putting spyware in their goddamn drivers. An AOL icon is one thing but this is rediculous. Needless to say, this is the last Creative sound card I will buy ever.
 
all i can say is wow, i got an audigy 1 when they FIRST came out for 25$, so of course i never passed it up, it was used for 6months, but since then, its sat in my desk along with tons of other cards.
onboard does enough for me.
 
I was wrong. Apparently someone using my computer previously installed them, and I didn't notice since I never looked in the start menu nor do I use IE so I didn't see the new toolbar it installed. I still got the AOL icon though. Oh well, time to restrict access to my computer it seems.
 
Heh, I was about to call you crazy cause I didn't have gain/gator and I run an Audigy 2.

Gator is the absolute worst of the spyware shit... Hard as hell to get rid of (or was, thankfully haven't had to remove it in some time).

i have gator installed on my computer. Only because i use kazaa............... for non illegal educational purposes:rolleyes:

anyways its not that annoying

Why do you use the crappy version of Kazaa then?
 
ummmm i was going to get kazaa lite but then i heard they were capping it to somthing like 0.05kbs per second so i changed my mind
