Started playing this last night on PS4. According to things I've read it runs identically on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. The game looks absolutely gorgeous. This is a proper remake with excellent QOL improvements that do not change the way the game is played. All the levels in the first game look to be intact. I'm about halfway through the first game and it has been nothing but joy. One of my favorite series from the PS1 era.
