Who has used the spyder 2 and do you think it's worth it? Does it save the configuration at software level so each time you start up your computer, it's going to adjust your monitor or does it change the settings as if you would have in the OSD?
I think it's worth it simply because it takes the guesswork out of adjustment and the results look pretty good to my eyes. It makes a startup color profile that loads with windows....You set your monitor controls to default and then the adjustments are automatically made through your videocard drivers. I still take my brightness down a few notches after adjustment but that is just personal preference.
