Sputnik wireless windows 7 issues

I'm kind of at a loss at what to do since i cant get in contact with the network administrators to see if its a problem on their end. Basically I'm using a pay per use wifi connection that runs with the Sputnik system. At first it worked fine, but know I can only connect to an AP maybe 5% of the time and then it wont let even let me leet me log on. There are multiple APs i can associate with on the same system but they all have the same behavior. This system has windows 7 and an atheros ar928x adapter. When i was connected I ran a traceroute and these were the results:

Loaded up backtrack and same problem, so its either the adapter proper or the APs.
