aslong as i cover the ports is it ok to spray then? (the metal casing). my case is going to be so black. ill create a worklog once i have it built again (awaiting new mobo)

If you sand it with a good ~300 grit sandpaper you can spray straight metal... Provided you clear-coat it.

If you don't, all the paint will scratch off when you put the drive in the case.
 
ok. ill probs do my whole case like that. i want to spray my psu and HDD, but it'll void warranty and with stuff that expensive its not worth it.
