Spray painting wires?

has anyone ever spray painted their psu wires? im thinking of painting them black to give it a clean look. would this be a good idea?

why dont you just sleeve them with black sleeving. sleeving will look better. i think spray painting them would look like shit

They would eventually crack and peel. Your better off sleeving. If not sleeving than use wire loom comes in various sizes, colors, and it's pretty cheap.

o yeah...i didnt think of what would happen to the paint over time. ok thanks guys ill look into sleeving

It won't eventually crack and peel if you use the right paint.

Paints such as polycarbonates are meant to be used on flexible surfaces. They can withstand great flexing and bending and can take a lot of abuse.

Now depending how how well you paint it - I think it could turn out better than a sleeving job.

Then just imagine when you need to replace a connector or something like that...

Okay, the black wires go in the middle... wait, they're all black.
