Did you know it's illegal to put pretzels in bags in Philadelphia?

Did you know it's illegal to put tomato sauce in clam chowder in Boston?

Did you know in some states, if a woman is driving a vehicle, her husband is required to walk 10 feet in front of the vehicle in order to warn approaching motorists?

Did you know, in Washington state, it's illegal to have sex with a dead fish?

Did you know in Cleveland it's illegal for women to wear patent leather shoes?

It's nice living in Canada.

I'm 14 (was 13 when I bought it). I just grabbed the colors I needed, paid, and was on my way.

You also get carded if you try to buy cans of compressed air. Apparently, kids like to huff the stuff.

hmmmmmm, dead fish.
i figure they would put up a hell of a fight, if they were alive.

:D

I'm much less concerned with the fact that a "legacy" law remains on the books regarding that... and more concerned with the fact that at one time it was considered such a problem and so many people were doing it that someone decided to propose (then debate) a bill to make things like that illegal.

I remember years ago when I was under-age I was carded for buying a lighter. That was a few days after the same clerk sold me a pack of cigarettes without carding me. Guess it's more important to be sure I don't burn my fingers than it is to prevent me from being killed by cigarettes.

had the same thing happen to me.
didnt get carder for cigarettes, but a second later got carded for buyin the lottery tickets.

Before I was 18...

I could buy ether (starting fluid, 80%) but I could not buy super glue.

I bought 1.5 gallons of Acetone, but I could not buy canned air.

I could buy gasoline and propane, but I could not buy spraypaint

and, I could buy 2 stage enamel car paint at the car parts store, also the wedling supply store let me buy oxegen in bottles.

Wierd how that crap is. I could blow up my house with either and oxegen, I could snort the acetone and car paint, I could superglue my joint, but... Aww fuck it. These laws are screwed up.

If your not 18, just get your spray paint from Home Depot and check out in the gardening department. They won't ask for ID over there b/c their equipment is usually older and doesn't tell them to check for ID.

Brings me back to the good old days of being under 18 and all the crap you couldn't do.

It all depends on how many stupid liberal politicians who think they are doing the people a favor by making up retarded laws like this are running your city (or should I say your life??).
