Is there a way to split between two HDMI without a splitter? Using the motherboard HDMI and then my video card HDMI? So that I may just switch back and forth?

Trying to split between my TV and computer monitor. one video card 960 nividia, and onboard motherboard HDMI port. Two wires. Trying to just use the onboard for the tv, and for the monitor have it into the 960.
As long as you have a CPU that has onboard, and you can enable onboard in the BIOS along with the GPU, then you should be good to go.
I had to do that on my 4790k Asus Sabertooth Z97 board when I was diagnosing a dead GTX980.
pretty muchSo just make sure it's enabled in BIOS and it should work? hm..
If you can't get it to work, use an adapter like Dr Lobotomy suggested. I am using one on another machine to hook up to my main 34" monitor on it's second HDMI input.
