Michael.R said:what settings are you guys running it at and getting for FPS. The shader 3.0 with HDR is awsome but it hogging my FPS. I got to make the choice between HDR and AA/AF.

Thanks

Michael.R said:Ya it looks awsome. I just cant figure out what to take screenshots with so I guess I will have to use FRAPS. (but i can only save BMP)
Edit: NM the images come out at at nearly 4mb's and I dont want to resize them because the look nearly the same after you end up resising them. But 3.0 looks much better then 1.1 after trying them out, its mostly the HDR though.
fallguy said:A FPS counter would be nice. One poster did that, and showed he went from 43fps with 1.1, to 18fps with 3.0. That may not be worth the FPS hit, depending on who you ask.
It would also be nice if they stopped being lazy and added 2.0.

ManCannon said:Nope, one of the options in the Shader 3.0 settings is HDR.
Sounds simple enough. Thanks for the tip!ManCannon said:To enable HDR in the Chaos Theory demo you have to enable Shader Model 3.0 in the advanced video settings tab. I think it enables HDR by default, but to be sure you can click on the box next to your Shader Model selection, I think it says something like "Shader configuartion" or something. It's in there.
