Here's what I'm going to try next...it will be mounted on the wall also, but horizontally with steel twisted wire supports.
holy crap @ monitor

Corrugated you should mount I wireless camera on that thing and drive it by video. :D (or at least put a camera on it and record some video)

Heavy Metal is the baddest mod around. Period. I can't tell you how many of my friends I've shown that too.

DaMaDo, i remember that mod. I don't remember where I originally saw it, but I love it. It might be the big ass plasma (I think, might be LCD) that it's attached too :p but I love it.

As far as the PSU not being original, no need to split hairs here. It's original enough, and a damn good job if you ask me. (which you didn't :))

DaMaDo, Sweet mod, but I wanna see pics of that monitor, WOW!! First Person Shooter DREAM MONITOR!!

some simple mods but i havent seen some of them anywhere, (it said original not complicated) i put a headphone jack in my keyboard (cleaner than just using an extention cable, and your head usualy only goes so far from the keyboard)

Not a bad idea at all. I like it. Always a stretch to plug headphones into the front of my computer or the speakers.

I "shortened" my power cables by cutting a hole in the side of my power supply and then glueing a foam grommet in the hole. Had I not done this mod my proc. fan woulda been blocked by the cable.

Then after that i braided my power cords (except the atx connector).

I added 2 USB ports to the side of my front bezel, not all that original now, but when I did it, it was. I hadn't seen any painted monitors and keyboards when I did mine also. (about 3 years ago) My latest mods are a plexiglass reservior, plexi ATX back plate and WC cooler mounted inside a window AC unit. Once I get my camera charged up. I'll take some pics.

2 bay custom [H]ard disk rack with 80mm fan. mounted with velcro
Can we say portable. reliable and cool?

What kind of connection do you have between that computer and the TV. It looks WAY too good to be s-video. Are you using component?

Its a DVI connection.

The HDTV is a Samsung 61" DLP RPTV The model is HLM617W.
They have several other smaller sizes too.

I'll take some more pics when I get back home from the middle east (damn deployments =P)

I only wish hardforums could go through the firewall back on base in Qatar...I have to come to Bahrain to be able to post =/ For some reason though, all the overseas forums work....like bit-tech.net etc. Wierd =/

Mine original idea "WAS" the splat case window later made popular by splizzatt and several others. I did mine originally almost 3 years ago now and it is still cool.... It's ironic he and I had no idea that we both had the same general idea :)

not as heavy as you may think - it's aluminum with only pieces of the original steel chassis remaining. all in all it's about 40lb with all the hardware. :D
