We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Hi everyone,

I am exploring spiceworks and I am very new at this. When I want to add a new device (Network device (router)), I need to add SNMP. Does enyone know what I have to fill out? I tried allready several options but I keep getting these messages:

Could not connect to 192.168.1.1 using SNMP v1 or v2 within 40 seconds
Check our help page for more information.

192.168.1.1 is my default gateway

Thanks

You will need to set up a community string for your router if it supports SNMP in order for spice works to poll the equipment. The big question is what make and model router do you have?
