My cpu is 44c full load, and I see my fan is running at 2.6k rpms. Would their be any noticeable benefit in turning it up to full speed?

Not really. I turned up my Zalman 7700Cu from half speed to full speed it really didn't do a thing. And 44c load is very cool im hitting the 50's might hit 60's in july and aug. 44c is nothing to worry about.

Ya, I know but.. I don't know if I want to keep my house at 70F for much longer... I live in Texas. =\

Mine runs at 48-50C at dual prime, but real world useage I rarely see higher than 42-44C. Ambient temps in my house are 76 or so. I really wouldn't worry about temps unless you're getting hotter than 50 on a daily basis.

If it gets to like 40 idle open the side panel door. It helps alot but the dust that it sucks in is bad.

..40c is pretty damn cool. I don't think I would open my door up unless it was like 65load.
