in speedfan there are temp1, temp2, and temp3..... what temperature goes to which component?
 
It differs with each mobo. But usually the temp1 is system temp and temp2 or temp3 is CPU. It can differ. The way you check is, let computer idle and watch the temps. Then load up prime95 and run a load on it. The temp that goes up greatly is the CPU. The other is northbridge I guess?
