Hi gang,

Since my fan controller is having problems and going back to Newegg, I'm trying to work on ways to use my case's pwm fan controller to handle six fans on my gpus and their crazy AIO setups.

Essentially, I can control a fan hub using speedfan by tuning the % fan speed for a pwm header on my motherboard. This changes the power sent to the hub, which then speeds up or slows down the fans.

This works well, but opening speedfan and then clicking to change the % speed is slightly cumbersome.

Does anyone know if you can set profile, or hotkey the up/down speed buttons in speedfan? I have a programmable keyboard and mouse (g15 and naga) if that would help any.

Ideas?

You may be asking a more advanced question then I'm answering, but yes, you can sort of set a profile, if by that you mean a stable set of paramaters.

speedfan is tricky to configure. this is a very helpful resource.

A few tips for configuring speedfan:
-uncheck unnecessary monitors like HDD in temperate tab
-check automatically varied and set your desired max speed on speeds tab
-set pwm mode to software on advanced tab

On second note speedfan startup really slow for me. Anyone know how to disable HDD detection?
