hello, anyone know of a way test usb to be certain its functioning at 2.0 and not 1.1 speeds? ive been into the bios and it says usb2.0 is enabled but id like to be certain. im trying to use a external usb modem. after the modem calls out and connects it disconnects after 30 sec. ive tried it on other computers and it works fine. so im wondering if theirs something wrong with the usb. ive used a optical mouse in the usb port and it works fine but of course it wouldnt utilize usb 2.0. any thoughts appreciated.

antec aria 3.2 northwood. intel d865glc mb. 2gig kingston ram. seagate barricuda sata.
