Spectraview II vs Spectraview I

Can someone please explain me what is the main difference? should i insist for the new version
how much better is spectraview II comparing the older one? As far as i know it matters only to 2690 cause it has better Srgb calibration options or i'm wrong?
also does the (USA 2490) with SV package include colorimeter ?

You mean 2490/2690 version 1 versus new version 2?
They both use SpectraView II calibration software (USA) or SpectraView profiler (EU).

I meant if there is any old production model left in some store, is there possibility to include
spectraview I instead of spectraview II or they change the entire production line?

Or there is no chance to get older version of Spectraview I no matter where you buy ?
i'm asking this cause the monitor will be bought buy a friend of mine who don't
quite understand lcd monitors he can be "tricked" very easy

You may be lucky finding the old version of 2690. But I'd not count on it.

I'm mot sure if you quite understand me i meant is there chance to get the SV I instead
of SV II kit did they discount the whole SV I kit monitors or there are still some left
at some stores ? thanks!
