speakers sound weird

when playing a game or music my speakers play soft in the back and loud in the front (5.1 speakers 6.1 sound card). i have the settings set to 5.1 and everything is pluged in right. how do i make them so that there is equal sound all around the room and not lou in the front and soft in the back?

Download the applications from the creative site along with the updated driver, and in the creative volume control manager, you can adjust how much sound you want comming from the front and rear speakers.

i dl the driver from the site... still nothing. where do i find the update and other stuff?

you're gonna need to find the driver's cd. with creative cards, if you want to release their potential, you're going to need to install some of the applications (not just the drivers) that were on the CD which your friend didn't give you.

There used to be posting for links to audigy or even audigy 2 drivers which you could use on the card. However, I don't know where they're at for the moment.

Specifically, you'd need to change the "fade" option under "speaker settings" once you've installed everything. That'll help you balance everything out.
