This is the first time it happened. i didn't alter any connections or install anything new. i went to sleep yesterday and it was fine. woke up today and it's like this.

so i have a klipsch promedia 4.1, but with only 2 satellites currently plugged in, so essentially it's a 2.1. When the speakers are plugged in, there's a constant loud buzzing noise.... i can still play music but on the beats or rhythms, it's like muffled with static. the volume is also a bit lower.

anyone have any idea what's goin on? are my speakers dying??

i'd recheck all the connections, make sure something isnt half unplugged

My GMX-A 2.1s are very sensitive to interference -- is your cellphone near to the speakers (sub/satellites/control system/wiring) or maybe something else new and electronic nearby?

hmm it's not interference cause i know what it sounds like if it is. my cell phone rings and i can hear a different "hum" but this isn't it.

i rechecked all the connections and i have no mic.

i just tried to turn up the subwoofer bass volume a bit and it's like a freakin "tinny" sounding tong tong tong... not thump thump thump...

i think maybe this is what it sounds like if your speakers are blown? i don't even turn it passed like 25%....

wierd....
