Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hello, I have a set of Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 and I need to transport them. I have them stored in a car outside at 13°F, and I'm wondering whether my speakers will get damaged. I can't find any information on Klipsch's site or manual.
The only thing that I can imagine would be the condensation that would result as you brought them out of storage into a (presumedly) warmer room. Let them get cold, then keep them in a sealed plastic bag. That should cut the moisture.
Putting them in a plastic bag is a good idea. Also, when you bring the speakers "in," let the speakers sit inside so they reach room temperature, and allow some time for any condensation to evaporate.
