I'm trying to set up CMSS-3D for headphones on Windows XP. I have speakers set to "Headphones" in Creative control panel and unchecked synchronization with Windows control panel.

In Windows audio settings I want to select 5.1 speaker configuration (under "Speaker setup"), however, that dropdown is disabled (greyed out). What could be the problem?

This is on a completely fresh and up to date Windows + drivers installation.
