This might be the wrong forum for this question, but how would the Polk Audio TSi100 and a T-amp sound vs. my M-Audio AV40's?
 
well.. how stuff sounds compared to X is in generally a pretty subjective thing

I can say personally I would prefer the Polks + decent T-amp (you might actually want to check out the TPA 3116 options (many on ebay kits / complete amps) as well as the T-amp's .

I ran Polk Monitor 30s and a SMSL SA-S3 t-amp for some time (the Monitor 30s are similar to the TSi100's) and was quite pleased with the results.
