Speaker problem - Inspire 6600

Ok, for the last half year or so, I've been having this weird problem with my speakers (Creative Inspire 6.1 - one of the speakers is blown, so it's truly only a 5.1 system now). The speakers seem to have a mind of their own, and they "boom". By boom I mean it goes in somewhat of a pattern (but as I said before, at completely random times). Example:

Ba......ba.....ba.....Boo....BOOM... or ...Boom..ba..Boom..ba..ba..

The above sequence is only a few seconds long at the most. Think of someone in a room above you slamming one foot on the floor as hard as they could with that same pattern.

I've checked the wiring, and I've ran diagnostics as well as calibration tests... I just can't figure out what the problem could be!

This bug is really annoying me, as it's becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy music/games.

Once again, my speakers are Creative INSPiRE 6600 Series. And if it helps, I've got an Audigy 2 sound card.

Do you have a cell phone near your computer? Mine causes interference in the form of booms on my speakers. Turn in off and see what happens. I think you are experiencing some form of interference.
 
Yeah, my Nextel causes some interference, but I still get it with my phone turned off.
