My current speakers are these logitech R-10, but I am getting weird noise from them whenever I plug in headphones. I've decided to upgrade my sound system to have a better overall audio.
I need to buy new speakers, and new headphones. I play games and listen to music (mostly rock).
Considering:
KSC 75 - I currently have some street style sony headphones, I heard these kick ass
SR60 - I hear sound quality is much better (though not proportionally to price)
PX100 - heard these were good but not as good as SR60 in sound quality, maybe even not as good as KSC75
Not sure what new speakers to get. I don't really have room for more than 2 speakers. Also, my neighbors complain about my roommate's subwoofer boom on its lowest volume, so I sorta want to avoid a subwoofer, or it needs to be light/easy to turn down. My headphones will plug into these speakers, so they need volume control.
I found one creative set on the cheap (SBS260 ), which I would get if I got the SR60, with the KSC75, I think I'd get a more expensive speaker system.
I'm looking to spend about 100 dollars total, or less. What would you guys recommend I purchase for a headphone/speaker combo ~< $100?
