Do you guys think the Sparkle GTS 250 low profile card would be enough to max out current games, including crysis? I was thinking I would have to lower the resolution to 1360x768, as it will be hooked up to a 1080p display and am pretty sure its not enough for 1920x1080. That and I believe the card is downclocked as well. So I searched for 8800gts g92 benchmarks (since the clock speeds are closer and is basically the same gpu) for crysis at the 720p resolution but the users results varied quite a bit.

Trying to build a small gaming system. Wondering if this card would be worth it as it would make the install much easier, but dont want it to be a bottleneck. I would try to fit a 5850 in the case, but I would need to get pretty creative and use some riser cards. The case I'm working with is only 3.75" tall x 8" deep x 10" wide, so its hard to fit everything and also worrying about cooling.

FWIW, I know Crysis shouldnt be and isnt the only thing that counts, but I think it is the best game still to showcase PC graphics to people, if it can be maxed out which I can with the 5850 in my desktop.

Thanks

The standard GTS 250 isn't really powerful enough for Crysis at max at 1440x900 (trudges at 20-25 fps), so I doubt the Sparkle would fare any better even at a slightly lower resolution (as IIRC it is underclocked a fair amount).
