Does anyone know the minimum spacing required from the rear of the motherboard to the back wall? I''m trying not to put any unneed pressure on the parts by squeezing them into place.

And is 1/4" enough spacing between the bottom of the case and the motherboard? I plan on using acrylic and didnt know if there would be any heat issues or should I make a motherboard tray of sorts with the high heat areas cut out to provide more air flow. Just because the smell of burning plastics is oh so wonderful.

Edit: And since i got this post here, WTF is the the metal frame that you screw the expansion slot cards into and frames the I/O aperture. I need to find two identical ones and was gunna order them online.

you could probably cut out the space on the motherboard tray that does not have screws to vent out the motherboard better. just make sure you leave a line in the middle for the standard atx screwholes. or you could just not paint under the motherboard.

as for the space between mobo and tray... just as long as there is no chance that the mobo will touch any metal, i don't think it matters how close you are
