Has anyone messed around with Space Engine? I guess it technically is not a full game yet but I've heard the devs want to make into a MMO. For those of you not familiar with SpaceEngine it’s currently a free 3D astronomy program that uses real astronomical catalogs and procedural generation to generate our entire universe in game. It’s really cool actually and it’s been a lot of fun discovering cool looking planets and blackholes etc. Some 4K shots I took: http://imgur.com/a/LIn4W
I recently used it to make some 4K 60 fps music videos for my dad as a Christmas gift. Here's a few of them. You can really get a good sense of the scale of the engine in the first video. As I'm zooming out in the end all the points of light are actually galaxies that are passing by.
