yea i already have the disk but is there anything better about the new one

You won't get anything "more" by buying a copy of XP with SP2 slipstreamed vs installing XPSP2 on an existing machine.

and which one is better pro or corp

If your going to ask this question here, then don't start a new thread with the same question elsewhere.

The *volume licensed* version of XP does not require activation like retail, OEM, or upgrade versions. No other differences between them.

Slipstream it yourself. Better than installing xp then installing sp2...

Yeah definitely the best way to do it. Just download the service pack, then get a program like nLite or Autostreamer(haven't tried it but it is supposed to do the same thing), or use the command line, and just slipstream it. Then use the program to make an ISO and burn your XP with Service Pack 2 integrated ISO to a cd, and voila!(sp?) simple as that. No need to wait for the official release, just do it yourself.
