i have a spare antec smartpower 400w 2.0 psu that i removed from my case i bought and was wondering if it would be enough for the following system:

Biostar Tforce 6100-939
athlon 64 3000+ (will be overclocking... cpu can do 2.7ghz)
2x512 ocz ram
evga 6800GS or 7800GT
250-400gb hdd
audigy 2 zs or x-fi xtreme
benQ DW1640

thanks.

It should work in a stock application, but overclocking? That'll be a crap-shoot. Spend money on your overclocking CPU, yet skimp on the PSU (not to say this one is bad)?

i run 4 hds, two of which are raptors;x850xt pe overclocked;2600 mobile at 2.3ghz; dvd burner; a78nx-e deluxe mobo off a 1.0 SP 400ws

thanks for the replys guys. i'll just buy one of those new antec neoHE psu's, 500w seems about right.
