So.. I'm looking to do something with a clear acrylic case I got from Clear PC some time ago.. I finally decide that I want to use Window tint on the outside.. and maybe leave a hole in it with a silver dragon, or etched dragon in it, not sure about that part yet..

I want the mirrored finish stuff that turns transparent when there is light behind it.. so I can still show off the inside of the case..

Anway.. I send a message to a window tint company describing what I want to do.. and I get back a one line message that says "You can't put window tint on acrylic"...

I KNOW I've seen it done before.. and Yoshi on TSS has an article on it on TechTV.. but no sources for Window Tint..

Any suggestions?

i *know* you are taking about Macro Black right? :)

Macroman actually used a combination of tint and paint. read the article - should give you a few ideas.

Yeah.. that's it.. I knew I had seen it somewhere.. just couldn't find it again...

Still doesn't answer my question.. where can I get the tint?

The paint part is going to be a problem, but I'll work around that somehow.. even if I have to "borrow" a friends garage to work in.. I REALLY like the effects on that case...

Wow, I've never seen that perticular case before and I'm damn impressed  I think I'm interested in a nice mirror tint for my window as well.
