I've just upgraded my system to an A64 with an nforce 3 250 board. I was just wondering if should carry on using my audigy 1 card or use the onboard nvidia sound? I have logitech z680 speakers. Also, what type of cable should i use? Digital?
 
I'm pretty sure my board has onboard sound. I just assumed it would be soundstorm. Will have to look a little more closely at the manual.
 
uhh, answer his question? huh? Since he doesnt have soundstorm, that cancels out one of his two choices..

i never had an audigy, so i dont know what kind of digital connector it uses, but using digital simplifies cabling. It usually also enables precoded 5.1 when watching movies.
 
Yea, but if NF3 had soundstorm, I'd go soundstorm all the way.

Thats actually one of the major reasons that I haven't gotten a NF3 board yet :(
