Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i'm running my sound off of my abit NF7-S onboard sound and i haven't been able to get my mic working. i was wondering if you guys know of any sort of driver issue with soundstorm and microphones.
my nf7-s onboard sound is finicky with drivers. About 1 out of 3 work correctly....meaning at least 3 newish driver sets should be tried imho. If you've gone that route already then go over the audio control panel with a fine toothed comb and test changes along the way.
It may sound idiotic but are you certain the mic works correctly?
List everything you've tried so we know not to give redundant advice on the next round
i'm pretty sure its the drivers because i'm pretty sure i've run through the full gamut of microphone options. i've checked that my speakers (klipch 5.1 ultras which use 3 plugs into the sound card) aren't plugged into the speaker port, and it doesn't look like they are. and then i've been through and tried to check all the different settings.
i'll start looking for drivers, are there any you guys could recommend? i'm not sure which ones to download, as there seem to be a ton of like unified drivers and other such nonsense
