Soundcard recommendations for shuttle.

I just built the shuttle SN25P . Its a great box but the sound card is shit for gaming. Anyone have any suggestions on an external sound card. I have the audigy 2 nx but its not that hot either. It just cant add up to what my audigy 2 zs was.
 
Well then its obvious what you should get ;)
audigy 2 zs cause anything below the zs you wont think will "be enough" or "sound right"
plus that is a dam sweet card im still useing my soundblaster live black pcb 5.1 its leet for me for now

Uhhhh news flash, the SN25P DOES NOT have a PCI connector, only the PCI-E 1x connector. There are currently no high end soundcards in PCI-E form factor, you'll have to use the onboard VIA Envy for the time being.
 
Um yea i know it doesnt have a regular pci slot thats why im using the sound blaster nx usb one. It out performs the shitty Via Envy Soundcard they used for onboard in EAX games.
 
Soundblaster is apparently working on a totally new gen of soundcard on PCI-E 1x but who knows when it will be out
