Anyone know what the best sound card for these games is?

And yes I know they are not out yet, so I guess the question is which card does the best Dolby Digital in games? Audigy 2 ZS? M-Audio something?

soundcardcentral.com seems to be down right now...

OMG, for the love of Christ people have found ways to spread this into fucking every imaginable scenario over the past 6 months. Dude...they haven't said ANYTHING about the final system specs, let alone minor stuff like this. So why even ask? Just say, "Hey, what's the best Dolby Digital compatible soundcard?" and be done with it.

Just find out when the games are released. If you buy something now in anticipation then there will just be a better card in a few months that will be more suited for the games. I really don't understand why people are so concerned with those games right now.

What do you mean by "does the best Dolby Digital in games?" Just about any card with a digital out can passthrough a dolby digital signal. The sound card doesn't really do anything to it, so all soundcards should be just about equal in that respect. There are no sound cards that do dolby digital encoding, so the game would need to have the sounds already encoded.

Looks at sig....

"Is my pen compatible with this paper?" -SacLANd with regards to "Will DOOM 3 run on computers of now?"

I'm sorry. I really don't have the time to keep up with the lastest news on these games. I just thought maybe someone has read some artcile on stashpot or some website where the developers had said something, or since the HL2 beta leak someone had some idea as to what was the best card supported. I won't ask again.

Thanks to jamezzz122 for an answer in a most non-"You-r-teh-Sux0r-n00b" manner.

And I meant DD decode, as these are games are suppose to have the sounds already encoded.
