Hey guys im trying to run speaker calibrator on my comp with windows 7 64 but i get an error msg saying "error obtaining calibrator interface! please install and register CTSCAL.DLL." now i have that file installed in my c:\windows\system32
i also tried running Regsvr32 ctscal.dll but i get a msg saying "the module ctscal.dll failed to load.
make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent.dll files.
the specified module could not be found"

i had this problem on vista too but it was fine on xp. any help plz. Im also not able to use sound recorder that came with my soundblaster audigy 4

"the module ctscal.dll failed to load"

You should have an entry in event viewer with more info.

I have a feeling the .dll is windows xp only.

Upgrade time? I would think creative would have vista stuff, but the audigy 4 is fairly old.

On their site it lists driver availability dates for Win 7, product by product. Hopefully your card is on there. I know that even the latest and greatest (X-Fi Titanium) drivers aren't completely functional in Win 7 either.
If they kill off Audigy 4 support, luckily the newer cards can be had for under $50.
