hey guys, well i'm gonna be living in an apartment next year instead of the dorms and i finally get my own room. and well i'm gonna be shopping this summer to spruce up my room for next year. basically i want to know what are the best sound system options if i want to be able to play music from my computer through my speakers, play my console games through my speakers, and watch tv through my speakers.
 
You need a reciever, so that way you can switch between sources. What's your budget?
 
The Logitech Z-5500 would probably do nicely.

probably $500 for everything since i'm a poor college student. i know it's not much, but as long as its an improvement over my current logtiech z640s lol.

well 5.1 would be preferred, but i know that with my budget 2.1 seems like a better option, either way i'm looking for the best bang for the buck setup.
