Today my sound just stopped working while i was watching TV. I had my Winamp paused and came back to receive an error and it promptly crashed. By default i had my on board sound card disabled I rebooted the pc and same problem exists.I totally removed the sound card and drivers and then installed brand new drivers from web and same issue happens. Device manager shows the card installed fine. however, i have no sound volume on task bar. I have since then installed a Audigy 2 card and tried the on board sound and nothing works now. Any suggestions on what to do?
