I'm not sure if this is the right section to put it in or not, but here goes.

I've been having problems with sound on my computer. Most everytime I listen to music via WMP or an internet browser, the music cuts off but the progress bar still moves. The only way I can restore the sound is to either exit out of everything or go to my sound properties and click advanced which immediately fixes the problem. The thing is, after a while it comes back. I've tested several scenarios. I've tried running only WMP and nothing else and it still would cut off. I then tried running one browser at a time and it also cuts off. I've tested this with multiple browsers already. Any recommendations?

Well, if you are running windows vista, there are some issues with the audio codec for some browsers and you will have to install a patch. A reccomendation that i have to you is to check simple things like your speakers to make sure that there are no loose connectons, etc....

you may have to update soem drivers for your speakers or audio things, too, to do that, there is a good website called: http://www.driverguide.com that has tons of drivers for that
