Ok, heres the problem: When I enable Hard Ware/3D Audio in my game instead of the standard 3D Audio, I get this weird problem from my microphone. It sounds like im in a large room, and can hear myself talk into the mic. The only way to stop the effect is by going into the Creative Speaker Settings and choosing 2/2.1 Speakers and then "re"-choosing headphones while alt-tabbed out of the game. Everytime I rejoin the game I get the problem again...Have any idea what it could be?

Soundcard= Audigy 2 ZS

I've tried
1.) Reinstalling the game
2.) Reinstalling the sound drivers
3.) Reformatting

In my volume control I have PFID-In muted, CD digital muted, auxilary muted, cd audio muted, line in muted, and tad-in muted. Mic boost is off too.

I'm CoNfUsEd...lol Odd thing is it just started doing this.

first off, what game? and are you using the mic for the game? (if yes, are you using in game support for the mic or a 3rd party program like vent/ts?)

i assume you are using headphones while playing and not a speaker setup.

since you reformatted completly i would assume its possibly a connection problem? double check all of the plugs.... and i guess make sure you have the most up to date drivers? very weird indeed.

Game is Americas Army. I use the mic to talk on 3-rd party communication clients like teamspeak/ventrillo etc...The connections are solid. The problem existed with my current drivers, which were updated a couple weeks ago. After reformatting im back on the older drivers and still the same problem. I'll try installing the new ones again. It's just weird, it makes me sound like a robot out of my headphones (set) when I say anything. People on the receiving end were hearing it too, probably the feedback coming out of my ear pieces.
