Ive been prime stable for hour 7 hours with my q9300 at 2887 with a 385Fsb, but when I play a game such as bioshock or crysis I notice the sounds are all screwed up. What is the reason behind this? My board is a gigabyte p35 DS3L, Creative Audigy Se and the volts are Vcore 1.22.

Try setting it to stock and if it still doesn't work then i'd look at drivers and if that doesn't help try to reinstall.

Disregard. I figured out that it was caused by enabling some eax bs. Dont know why it got enabled but its fixed now. A new question though is in the temps. The TMPIN1 is reporting 44 C load yet the cpus are at 70 according to Hardware monitor. How is that possible if TMPIN1 is the cpu heat spreader

There is no temp sensor in the heatsink on the CPU. TMPIN1 Is probably the temp sensor for the northbridge.
