i have an audigy right now, but need to be able to connect my analog 5.1 speakers and a headset and i need one more line in

do i need to get something like an audigy2 zs platinum, will this card have all the connections i need

my speakers use 3 outputs
headset would need 1 input, 1 output
and i need one more input

If you don't mind making a couple cables you can use the sound cards internal connectors and some little 1/8inch jacks from radio shack. Or you can buy a newer card :) the platinum has a lot more connectors then your talking about needing.
 
i wanted a new sound card anyway

You could get the audigy4 pro if you want a lot of connector flexibilty:

but it's definately more expensive then your audigy was ($250+). an audigy2 zs platinum for $173 has pretty much all the same hookups.
 
i've heard that the audigy4 pro doesn't sounds better than the audigy2zs

this true?
