I have an old school audigy gamer I bought a while ago, and now when I listen to any type of music, the "pitch" of all the sounds that I play has gone down like a half to a whole step.. Anyone have any ideas?
 
Anytime something like this happens, the first thing to do should be to reinstall the drivers....and reboot. And make sure you don't have too much else running in the background...something similar used to happened to me when resources were low.
