looked around found nothing, but Im using a computer Im not use to and Im all confuzzled
:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Some friends and I record a podcast and I game and use my pc as a media center, in other words I use my computer for every thing. I'm using a asuse xonar d2 right now, pci version. the reason for the change is the mother board I'm upgrading to does not have a pci port, evga sr-2.

price is not a huge issue but I'd rather keep the price under 400, <-- if an audio card exist over then it better cook me eggs XD
to sum up what i need is a do everything audio card with really good recording quality and 7.1 sound. I already have a decent mic
I'm thinking about getting the Xonar Xense or Xonar D2 pcie but I'm open to any other ideas.

P.S. If i sound like a noob its because when it comes to audio quality I am. The problem is the people listening to the podcast are may not be so ignorant to sound quality any help would be great
