Sound Card for music?

I currently have an SB Live 5.1 Value sound card. I am an avid music listener, through either my Logitech z5300 280w THX 5.1 speakers or my Sennheiser HD477 headphones.
I was wondering if upgrading to a Sound Blaster Audigy 2, or other comparable sound card will enhance my music listening experience?
 
In my experience: not really. If you do get a new SC, I'd stray away from Creative, as their drivers, especially for the new(er) cards, are widely considered to be some of the most bloated, buggy 'drivers' I've ever seen. I don't think you're missing much with that sound card, as the speakers you have can't really take advantage of the quality anyway (don't get my wrong, they're very very decent computer speakers, but in the grand spectrum they're not much to brag about.)

Yes.
Even most onboard solutions are better then that POS Live card you have now. :)
