Well one of my friend is facing this problem with his pc........................the thing is that he connects his 4.1 speaker cables into the Speaker and Line In ports of the mobo but he has also got a TV Tuner card from which a cable is plugged into the Line In port. Now the problem is that he can connect only one thing at a time....either the rear speakers or the cable from the TV Tuner .Is there a way to make them both work at the same time ?

...external switch box? Maybe someone in the Audio forum has a better answer...

Good luck - B.B.S.

You need a line mixer. A simple one would be to take a y-connect cable and slice in on both lines a 3.3-10K Ohm resistor.
