Sound Blaster Mic Problem.

Here's the situation...

I use my laptop and it's built in audio to talk on the internet using Yahoo Messenger Beta. I use a Logitech Headphone with mic. And everything works well... it sound nice and right.

Enter my new PC... I disabled the built-in audio on the Asus motherboard and slapped a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 (value) in there. So now, when I try to talk using Yahoo Messenger Beta and the Logitech Headphone and mic... the mic is acting weird. I hear the sound just right... but the guy I'm talking (same guy as before) has a hard time hearing me. He says that my voice goes down to a whisper... and then is fine again... and then to a whisper again. I believe it's the Sound Blaster that's causing this... but I don't know how to fix it. I already played with all of its settings... still no success.

Any suggestions? :(
