sound blaster live still worth it?

i am in process of upgrading my computer and was going to stick with on-board realtek 850 but found sb live in my old box.

i know on-board beats add-on card anyday but creative hasn't updated sb live drivers since 02..and realtek has nearly monthly update on their drivers.

stick with on-board or go with sb live?

I'd go with whatever sounds better to you. If it's one of the older SB Live cards, then it probably sounds worse than the integrated sound (as per my experience with two old Live cards). However, from what I've been told, the newer SB Live don't sound as bad.
